Your Browser’s Giving Away Your Password

We trust internet browsers with our entire online lives, from pictures to personal banking. But did you know that there is a very easy way for anyone using your computer to access your passwords?

If you’ve ever clicked “save password” when you enter your details into a website, your browser now has your password information stored in a very accessible way.

No matter what browser you’re using, all of the major providers have the option to reveal saved passwords, so if you’re on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer, you should be wary of who has access to your PC.

We recommend never choosing to save passwords for websites.
