No fix for XP users

– ” Microsoft has announced a vulnerability in Internet Explorer versions 6 through 11. The IE browser can be exploited to run malicious code just by browsing an infected web site. A temporary safety precaution is to enable the ‘enhanced protected mode’ in IE 10 and 11.
This vulnerability is nothing special – we have all gotten used to updating our OS’s and software regularly to fix problems and security vulnerabilities. What makes this a bit interesting, though, is that this fix will not be available for Windows XP through the ‘windows update’ feature. We have mentioned earlier that Microsoft would stop supporting XP on April 8. That date has passed, and this unpatched vulnerability is just a reminder to all XP users that it is really time to upgrade your OS.“
